Mr. Ram Prasad Padhya

Mr. Ram Prasad Padhya is a businessman. His business venture started in Africa as energy solutions provider ensuring sustainability (solar, electric and generator). He is currently the Managing Director (MD) of the JSM Group of Companies for Africa. He has expanded his partnership agreements with a Europe-based global energy company and looks forward to new opportunities in Africa and Asia. For the last two decades, his major clients and business associates have been the United Nations (UNICEF, UNDP and UNMISS), GTZ and other private and humanitarian organizations in South Sudan, Afghanistan, Nepal and Cambodia. He has received trainings and gained experience in computer software and hardware, electronics, air conditioning and refrigeration. In his capacity as the MD of the JSM Group of Companies, he has led a number of service delivery projects to various international organizations in the African content. He has invested in the BIG Industries Limited (focused on agro farming and production) in Nepal, the Lemon Tree Premier Five Star Hotel in Budanilkantha of Kathmandu, and in the capital markets. Mr. Padhya is a member of the Non-Resident Nepali (NRN) Association, South Sudan chapter, and together with other NRN chapters, he continues to invest in his homeland, Nepal. Mr. Padhya's strategic vision and proven leadership have promoted various businesses across three continents (Asia, Africa, and Europe)
